Life is serendipitous. If ever an antidote was needed, one was needed to counteract yesterday’s blogpost about Texas Judge William Adams and the hard-to-watch videotaped ‘can of whoop-ass’ he purportedly opened up on his teenage daughter Hillary.
So here’s a happier, far different report running counter to life’s disturbing ‘dad from hell’ realities. It’s a restorative counterstepping counterpoint. It, too, was videotaped. But unlike the Adams video, this is a neutralizing antidote to toxic familial dysfunction. It’s also going viral and it’s being called the “Best father-daughter dance ever.”
Ironically and coincidentally, it’s also from Texas. It features Ashley Richmond, an oil company accountant from Houston and her fun-loving dad David Sparks dancing together to a highly enjoyable R & B 10-song mashup at Ashley’s August wedding to husband Nicholas.
Ashley doesn’t stop smiling and neither will anyone watching. The wedding guests love every moment. It’s a father-daughter video you wish ran longer than its 4:06 minutes.
