The program features of group of wounded warriors who come together to heal and to play great music.
Readying themselves for the annual fundraising benefit that supports wounded veterans through the Bob Woodruff Foundation, former Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters lent them a hand. The fundraiser was held last Wednesday at New York’s Madison Square Garden and raised more than $5 million dollars.
And despite the loss of limbs and in one case, partial sight, these veterans tell a moving and inspiring story through their music and through their lives. Marine Cpl. Time Donley says, “I may be more more whole now than I’ve ever been in my life.”
